Safety And Security

Being in an urban environment, it is important to be aware of our surroundings and take care of each other.  In our caring and connected community, this happens daily!

TCU Police are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year.  TCU Police work closely with Fort Worth Police and other Texas law officials to ensure the security of our campus.  Through programs like Froggie Five-0 (a late night ride escort service) to Rape Aggression Defense classes, Horned Frogs have many resources available to them to keep our home safe.

TCU Alert, our email and text message notification system, is another tool used by our campus to keep all Horned Frogs up to date on important campus happenings or emergency situations.  Your parents and family members can also sign up for RSS updates as well via TCU Alert.

Sometimes, things don't go as planned and you end up the victim, despite how much prevention you practice. If you do find you have become a victim, the Victim's Advocacy Program is there for you.

As Horned Frogs, we realize how vital it is to care for each other and our community.  Through technology and on-campus resources, we constantly look out for one another and care for each other – it’s what Horned Frogs do!
