Office of the Dean of Campus Life

The Dean's Office coordinates the programs and services of International Student Services, Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, and the Brown-Lupton Student Center, providing advisement for campus activities and organizations, and supervision for fraternity and sorority residential facilities.

Located in Sadler Hall 101, the Dean's Office houses the university's discipline officers, the Victim Advocate Program, and TCU's Sexual Harassment officer. The staff of Campus Life mentors students and student organizations, linking them to resources to help them grow ethically and developmentally, and to help increase their chances of success at the university. When individuals or organizations experience crises, we address and help resolve them, working in collaboration with other Student Affairs units and with faculty, so that each resolution is guided by the appropriate balance of individual and community needs. We also process official University absences for faculty and verify serious illness or family emergencies for students. (See When You Are Absent From Class.) All of the Campus Life staff advise activities and organizations, consult with student leaders, plan workshops, retreats, and other campus-wide and organizational events.
